At the Romantik Hotel & Weingut Zehntkeller, we’ll organize your conference, seminar, or event right in the heart of Franconian wine country. Our focus is on enjoyment and quality. This family-run business consists of a hotel, restaurant, winery, and event venue. We are not a conference hotel in the traditional sense—which is perhaps why so many guests prefer to hold their conferences at the Zehntkeller.

Our cuisine has enjoyed a reputation that extends far beyond Iphofen for many decades. In 2023, we were awarded 2 forks by the Falstaff Restaurant Guide and a black toque by Gault Millau. Our style is upscale Franconian cuisine with modern touches.

Our spacious herb garden offers wellness in its truest sense. Enjoy the tranquility of Iphofen in a historic setting right next to the city wall, adjacent to our herb garden, where the herbs used in our cuisine and cocktails grow. The garden, with its comfortable outdoor furniture, is available to you as a guest at any time. The best way to relax is with a cool glass of our house-made Silvaner and a good book.

Our 59 rooms were personally furnished by our senior owner, Heinrich Seufert, and his wife, Gabriele, with great attention to detail. They selected much of the furniture in France, so a classic, French-inspired style runs throughout our decor. We have always placed a high value on durable, high-quality furniture. Each of our rooms is individually furnished; no two are alike. Our rooms are spread across five different buildings surrounding the restaurant. Do you have any special requests or needs (e.g., a building with an elevator)? Please feel free to contact us—we’ll find the right room for you.
