Craftsmanship as a Design Statement: The Restaurant Adolph Kolping was a journeyman shoemaker. That’s why the restaurant is named “Hand-Werks-Kammer” and, in addition to a bread oven, features displays reminiscent of a shoemaker’s workshop: unique vintage items such as leather sewing machines, shoe lasts, pieces of leather, leather presses, and much more. A glimpse into the craftsmanship of days gone by. Another charming feature is the buffet, which is built into an original workbench. An original planing bench has been repurposed to keep food cool. In contrast, the integrated, open event kitchen is thoroughly modern. The bistro is the perfect setting for your event!
