Located above the Landungsbrücken in the St. Pauli district, this historic hotel has been delighting guests for nearly 40 years with its maritime charm and unique view of the harbor and the Elbe River. The 380 rooms—furnished in either a classic Hanseatic style or a modern, elegant design—offer first-class comfort and all the amenities of a four-star hotel. In addition, this family-run, privately owned hotel looks back on an eventful history. In the 19th century, it initially served as a seamen’s home and later, among other things, as a naval training center. Even today, the neoclassical building remains a treasure trove of Hanseatic maritime history. Throughout the hotel, you can marvel at numerous antique collectibles and immerse yourself in the history of Hamburg and seafaring. The hotel’s dining options also exude North German charm.
