The newly renovated Hotel Burg Abenberg has been shining in new splendor since May 1, 2008. With the change in management and the Schneider family taking over, a breath of fresh air is sweeping through the building.In the newly designed restaurant, which seats about 50, you can sit back, relax, and let the experienced and knowledgeable staff pamper you with international cuisine. Or enjoy cocktails and/or wines from around the world at the bar. The hotel has a total of 22 rooms. All rooms are equipped with a shower/toilet, flat-screen TV, telephone, and hair dryer, and some offer a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and the golf course, which is located just 1.5 km away. Hotel guests receive a green fee discount when booking tee times. Six double rooms are located in the “Schottenturm” within the castle grounds. These include the wedding suite and the deluxe room, both featuring nostalgic decor. The remaining 5 double rooms and 11 single rooms are located in the nearby guesthouse, which is a two-minute walk away via a few flights of stairs.The banquet and conference facilities can accommodate up to 120 people, depending on the seating arrangement. In the Balcony Room and Fireplace Room, with their medieval charm, you can treat yourself to a stylish experience—and not just during the bookable romantic dinner. You can enjoy a very special atmosphere in the vaulted cellar. Whether for a medieval banquet or a company party, golf party, or Christmas party with a unique twist, this room accommodates up to 50 guests. Upon request, we’ll of course provide mead and appropriate medieval entertainment.
