Located in Lochau, directly on the shores of Lake Constance between the festival city of Bregenz and the island town of Lochau, the 4-star Superior Seehotel am Kaiserstrand offers space for so much and a view of everything. A landmark visible from afar, the Seehotel am Kaiserstrand is recognized by its distinctive façade. The castle-like battlements, bay windows, and arched windows—but above all, the stepped gables—make this silhouette on the lake a striking landmark. Since July 2023, following extensive renovation and remodeling work, the hotel has once again been welcoming guests from near and far, impressing them with its historic exterior façade and modern, stylish interior design.

BODY, SOUL, VORARLBERG: THE VJU RESTAURANT The restaurant’s name is no coincidence—it reflects both its quality and the dining experience. Restaurant Vju offers a breathtaking view, surpassed only by the view on your plate. In 2024, the restaurant was awarded its first Gault & Millau toque and narrowly missed out on a second. The dedicated kitchen team conjures up everything you’d expect from exquisite cuisine for events: from a delightful breakfast to delicious lunches and dinners as part of the conference package, right through to an elegant gala dinner. Various areas of the restaurant can be used separately for groups. When the weather is nice, the spacious terrace invites you to linger. For groups seeking privacy, the exclusive salon with its own terrace for 20 to 30 people is available and can be reserved individually. Restaurant vju Opening Hours: Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dinner: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. THE OPEN-AIR EVENT AREA: HOTEL TERRACE AND GARDEN When the sun shines over Kaiserstrand, it’s perfect weather. Time to leave the seminar room and head to our open-air event area. The hotel garden with its terrace is the perfect spot to move your group work outdoors. The gazebo in the hotel garden is ideal for an aperitif or a welcome drink. Beverage stations and small snack stations can be set up for groups. HOTEL BAR AND ROTE BAR: THE EVENING MEETING PLACE In the evening, guests gather at the hotel bar for a relaxed end to a successful day of events. The bar is open daily until midnight. From Thursday through Saturday, from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., the stylish Rote Bar invites you to enjoy a drink. As a special evening event venue, the Rote Bar can be booked exclusively for up to 25 people, complete with a private bartender and, upon request, a cocktail-mixing class.
