Welcome to a restaurant where authenticity, creativity, and well-being are our top priorities. That’s why it’s important to us to know where our ingredients come from, how they’re prepared, and what impact they have on us and our environment. We love the cuisine of our homeland as well as that of distant lands. To that end, we use top-quality ingredients grown seasonally and regionally, as well as meat and fish from select farms; we prepare them with great care and serve them to you with the utmost attention. Looking for more natural options? Our potatoes are grown for us by the Kornkammer team, a certified Bioland farm. Hardworking bees on our property, tended by beekeeper Norbert Mehring, provide our own honey. Strawberries, raspberries, cherries, lettuce, vegetables, and herbs are grown naturally in our hotel garden without the use of chemicals. The fresh, daily harvest finds its way into our dishes. Our goal is for you to feel completely at home at Mumm. Designed by Klaus Schulte in 2012, the restaurant impresses with its chairs made of the finest leather and its tables crafted from warm oak—created by wood artist Konrad Horsch. As you enter the restaurant, you’ll discover the distinctive and unique glass art of artist Stefan Pietryga to the right and left of the entrance and in front of the windows. “(Artist’s Statement) Enjoy the aesthetics and quality of the space in the company of your loved ones, relatives, and friends, and let yourself be pampered in a very special way with everything our kitchen and wine cellar have to offer.” Excellent cuisine, imagination, intelligence, and boldness also form the foundation of the cuisine at “Mumm.” Our head chef and his creative team conjure up exciting, contemporary dishes. Depending on the season, most of the vegetables and salads come from our own garden. Specialties from around the world are sourced from top-tier suppliers. Special requests are fulfilled immediately. Everything is here—anything is possible! Our staff recommends wines from German and European regions to pair perfectly with your meal. Wines from overseas are also featured on our menu.

Our 53 rooms are divided into six different categories. Each category is distinguished by its own theme—such as our country-style rooms (Nature & Design)—as well as by the room’s size and amenities. Our rooms are designed for guests who want to leave their daily routines behind and unwind. Most of our rooms feature a private terrace or balcony with a view of the countryside, allowing you to let your gaze wander over the beautiful natural surroundings. With us, you get more for your stay! Our included amenities for an overnight stay: Free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, 1 bottle of Mintrops table water, use of the wellness area, and a bath bag with a bathrobe, bath towel, and slippers provided in your room, free parking, and a free ticket for bus and train.
